Andrés Aguayo Bustamante is the Information Technology Manager at Soleil Metals, where he oversees the infrastructure, security, and availability of the group’s technological systems. He has over twenty years of experience in managing digital transformation, innovation, and organizational development projects in leading companies across a variety of sectors.

He is a systems engineer with a master’s degree in International Senior Management and Digital Transformation and an MBA in Information Technology. He has spearheaded the adoption of emerging technologies, ERP system integration, migration to cloud platforms and the development of digital strategies aligned with business objectives, achieving operational efficiency and cost reduction.

At Soleil Metals, Andrés defines and executes the IT strategy, conducts team training, and oversees the adoption of international security and quality certifications. He is renowned for fostering continuous improvement, innovation, and cross-functional technology integration in support of artisanal mining, actively contributing to the development and formalisation of this sector.
