Daniel Ortiz


Daniel Ortiz is a Metallurgical Engineer with more than 12 years of experience in the mining industry, specializing in precious metal processing, geometallurgy, and process optimization. He is currently focusing his expertise on strategic operations management, project development, and strengthening the responsible supply chain in the Peruvian mining sector.

He holds a master’s degree in Geometallurgy from the National University of San Marcos and a degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Saint Aloysius Gonzaga National University in Ica. His education is complemented by specializations in Geometallurgy, Occupational Health and Safety, Environment, and Process Management, acquired at renowned institutions such as the National University of Engineering, Ingenium, and CISold.

Over the course of his career, he has held leadership positions in companies backed by national and international capital, including Inca One Gold Corp, Minera Fidami, La Joya Mining, D Humana, and Emamin Trading, where he led projects to expand capacity, optimize metallurgical processes, reduce operating costs, and manage Opex and Capex. His experience combines technical management with strategic vision, focused on sustainable results and impact on the industry.

His professional focus is on consolidating responsible mining in Peru, integrating technological innovation, operational efficiency, and compliance with international standards, with a vision to promote operational excellence, sustainable innovation, and strategic leadership in Peruvian gold mining, ensuring the generation of value and compliance with the highest standards of quality, safety, and social responsibility.
