José Manuel Flores is the Logistics Manager at Soleil Metals S.A.
Under his leadership falls the comprehensive management of the Supply Chain and Logistics for the processing plants. His mission is to promote a planning culture based on efficiency, ensuring service excellence for both internal and external clients, process effectiveness, and cost control. He reports directly to the Operations Management of Soleil Metals S.A.
He is a professional with more than 15 years of experience leading supply chain and logistics operations in national and multinational companies within the industrial, construction, mining, chemical, pharmaceutical, agro-industrial, and automotive sectors.
His approach is centered on operational efficiency, cost optimization, KPI compliance, and the development of high-performance teams.
He has led operations in Peru, Mexico, Colombia, and Panama, implementing continuous improvement strategies, S&OP methodologies, Balanced Scorecards, and “Customer Centricity” policies.
He holds a degree in International Business Administration and has developed international trade management as one of his main added values. He also holds postgraduate studies in Strategic Purchasing Management and Transportation and Distribution, as well as having completed an International Senior Management Program in Operations and Supply Chain Management (SCM) at the University of Piura. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management at UPN, aiming to strengthen his professional profile within the mining industry.
