Sergio Saúl Salas García is Head of Security at Soleil Metals S.A., where he oversees asset and operational security management at the Victoria and Yacarí processing plants. He focuses on risk prevention, protecting strategic assets, and implementing comprehensive physical and logistical security protocols, working in conjunction with the Operations, Legal, and Compliance departments.

He brings over 20 years of experience in corporate security, operational intelligence, and crisis management, having held leadership positions at top mining and industrial companies in Peru. His career combines practical experience with a strategic approach focused on continuous improvement and the development of highly disciplined and reliable teams.

He is a Senior Officer of the Peruvian National Police with the rank of Major, currently retired, with international training from the U.S. Department of Defense and knowledge of the Colombian Police Educational Doctrine and the reality in El Salvador regarding the criminal gang known as Las Maras. He specializes in security and intelligence, with training in risk management, tactical operations, and industrial security. His extensive institutional experience and leadership focused on discipline, prevention, and operational efficiency contribute directly to the protection and sustainability of Soleil Metals’ operations.
