Héctor Miguel Ruiz Saldarriaga is a senior executive with more than 25 years of experience in the financial, accounting and tax fields, consolidated in leading companies in the mining, hydrocarbons, engineering and services sectors, both nationally and internationally. He currently leads the financial area of Soleil Metals Group – OCIM, reporting directly to the General Management in Peru and to the Director of Treasury and Operations in Switzerland.

In this position, he drives the financial strategy of the organisation, ensuring operational sustainability and regulatory compliance in demanding and highly regulated environments. His experience encompasses the management of multidisciplinary teams, financial process re-engineering, ERP implementation and accounting alignment under international standards such as IFRS and USGAAP, ensuring informed and efficient decision making.

Throughout his career, he has played a key role in structuring financial operations, budget management, cost analysis, project control and tax planning, contributing to strengthening corporate profitability and transparency. His leadership is distinguished by his technical approach, analytical thinking, results orientation and ability to generate solid solutions in transformational contexts.

Héctor is a Certified Public Accountant from the University of Lima, with international certifications ACCA and ICAEW in International Financial Reporting Standards. He is currently pursuing an MBA at the Universidad del Pacífico, strengthening his strategic vision and managerial leadership approach. His professional commitment is focused on adding value to the business through modern, proactive and operational excellence oriented financial management.
